This is a shape 37 and it has the old Made In NZ stamp as well as another Crown Lynn stamp with a different crown, oddly this has been stamped twice.

It has the Ambrico glaze 1/2 on it and this is unusual to see on white clay!
I will try to find this glaze on Ambrico clay ....

All things point to this being made c1948.

This is a very interesting backstamp.
Yes Ev, I agree, I think we will have to assume that this vase was made at the time when the Crown Lynn name was used for the first time and when the new white clay body was first developed - both 1948.
Great to see this lovely vase.
