I didn't have any luck with Google Lens, but that can be rather hit or miss.
This is beautifully made, but I don't think that the clay and style are that of Spartan/Stevens. The clay isn't 'warm' enough.

Thanks Ev, appreciate your help. One of the things that I had originally noted was how the base was painted in a quite thick layer of paint, with even some brush strokes showing. I was reminded of the base of the wire handled basket I have (since revealed as Spartan, yay). Paint job is very intact so just the odd spot of clay showing. Hopefully the maker will come to light at some stage.

As you have pointed out that the base is heavily painted then I could be totally wrong as to the maker
