Possible ‘U’ mark
Hard to tell if it is a U. Any thoughts on potter?

Hi there and welcome to the site.
This work is very distinctive and easily recognisable.
I don't know the name of the maker, but there seems to be quite a bit around in the South Island. I've never seen a mark for this work before.
The work is well executed and made by an experienced potter.
We should know who they are .... but we don't at the moment.
Hopefully this post will help and someone will know.

Possible "U' mark
Hi Ev,
I think the "U" mark belongs to Bette Donovan from Waihi.
I had a crater bowl of hers and two smaller bowls and one of these had a sticker on it with her name and address on. However I don't have them anymore so can't send a photo.
