Is this Martin Beck's work? Hanging vase

Hi this is small and not sure if it's a vase or a flask but either way it's made to hang. To me the potters mark looks like a B with a line thru it but I wanted to be sure. it's about 13cm across and 6 cm deep.

I had thought the marks were the same albeit slightly more squashed and not quite as defined. Another family member did not agree with my view so I thought I'd check with some knowledgeable people here.
I am in the process of sorting alot of pottery for a elderly relative who has forgotten where and when the pieces were purchased. can anyone give me any more info about where this piece is would go for or where best sold or perhaps a NZ pottery collection gifted too for all to enjoy?
