Fluted stacking mugs (3040)

I have several of these fluted stacking mugs (mine look this but different patterns https://www.newzealandpottery.net/t9966-are-these-crown-lynn-mugs). I use them often when I have guests for coffee and was wondering if matching saucers exist for this style of mug? I don't mind if the patterns don't match but saucers that were released with these mugs would be ideal

Hi there, I am not aware of any saucers for the 3040 Stacking Mugs.
These were first made in 1976 and were a popular shape.

If you could find a saucer that does the job, then go for it

Thanks for replying, would saucers from that same year for other ranges be suitable for the stacking mugs (aka fit the base on the fluted mugs fine) maybe I can find similar patterns, colours etc in saucers produced at the time?

I will check that thought out, as I have a little mountain of saucers for cans and cups and will let you know

Happy to tell you that the Shape 4042 Wide Well Rimmed Saucer first made in 1976 fit beautifully.
