Hi - Just need a bit of help with the Teal colour glaze. The below plates are both stamped Colour Glaze on the back. The side plate matches the Teal colour in the Colour Glaze gallery (a teal blue really) and the dinner plate is a Teal green (the old Air New Zealand teal colour - also the 'Vitrified Teal' colour). However the dinner plate is not vitrified. Are there two Teal colours - Teal blue and Teal green? Thanks Smile

The Colourglaze Gallery is a work in progress.
That's as far as we have got to date Smile
Tom Clark Jnr told me that there were around 99 colour glaze colours and that there was a book with them all in it when they closed down.
Earthenware Teal Colour Glaze has a different number to Vitrified Teal and I would suspect that there is a visual difference.  Plus there are two different Vitrified Teal numbers!
We have so many to find and record ....

Here is a list of Colour Glaze Colours and it needs updating constantly ... we have the ones highlighted in red.
