Temuka Russell Hobs Percolator
I have wondered that too. Our perc looks very much like Hon-John's.
It has the nice Crown Lynn colour glaze yellow. But the glaze is also very simular to our old yellow Temuka electric jug.
On the inside of the perc is a green slash. It has the same colour as the Titian/Aquila identification mark underneath vases etc.

Temuka Russell Hobs Peroulator
A Russell Hobbs CP1 Automatic Coffee Percolator.
The English company Russell Hobbs produced the world's first automatic electric coffee percolator, designated CP1, in 1952. (wikipedia) I have seen these in a variety of colours including white (with transfers), powder blue, pale green and burgandy, but so far not yellow.
Russell Hobbs later produced the CP2, a complete redesign, with the assistance of Wegdwood. I have not yet identified the maker of the ceramic jugs for the CP1.
The two CP1s shown in this electric jug/kettle topic appear to be an identical specification to the English perc. If Crown Lynn made the jugs for Russell Hobbs percs in the 1960s there are two indications in the Hobbs topic that those shown are local product:
1. As stated in earlier posts, the yellow corresponds with the colouring of Crown Lynn electric kettles, and
2. As seen in the photo provided by haselnuss, the designation "Made in England" is noticeably absent from the baseplate where it appears on the original item. (see below)
CP1 baseplate
If I was only a collector Crown Lynn and not a collector of coffee making devices (which I AM!) I'd be disappointed. This one is New Zealand sourced.

Fantastic to find for certain that the Russell Hobbs Percolators were made at Temuka Pottery
Thanks to Melita who went to the Temuka Exhibition at the Oamaru Museum and there was a photo of a display of Temuka and there were two, a yellow and a pale blue !!!!!!!
This is the best kind of reference one can find and it's very exciting

Re: Temuka Russell Hobs Percolator
Please note that I have moved the Russell Hobbs Coffee Percolators into the Temuka category now that they have been identified 100% as made by Temuka
