I don't have any idea who Barbara's were and would like to know too!
This backstamped ware gets listed on Trademe on a regular basis.

This popped up from a google search entering the words exactly as on the back stamp.
Either a link to who Barbara's was or simply a coincidence with the Australian name being the same as the US one ? however there is mention of US expansion.
Worth a look.
