I just need a couple of other people to agree with me
I forgot to take a pic of the backstamp, but will another day.
It has the Crown - star- Crown Lynn - New Zealand backstamp which is from around 1955.
I think that it's an adorable sugar bowl.

It looks to me as if the sides of 760 are wider at the top than the bottom - and yours is more like 776?

Now I'm 100% certain that it's a 776 ...... Thanks Tony
I didn't even notice that shape ....
it's a good thing that we have a vote of 3 to get things into the Crown Lynn Shapes Gallery

I have one the same with the New Zealand Breweries Limited logo on it - it is posted somewhere - un-numbered and monogrammed...I thought it was a nut bowl...
Yep, I think its a 776 and it is not described in my notes but has a notation 'cups' and comes after the 775 cream jug and before the 777 coffee pot.

I saw the real deal 760 in an op-shop in Papakura last week...
It is quite tiny for a sugar bowl and at $6 for an Alpine one I left it there..... boo hooo
Things that you want are never there when you return to get them .....
