This is a plate I have and I was wondering whether anyone had seen this type before. Backstamp next. It is very fine china and definitely translucent.

Re: Crown Lynn Translucent China
No, I've never seen that ware before.
That backstamp will be going into the Crown Lynn Backstamps Gallery, thanks Marl![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
When I get caught up, I will also put the pattern into the Patterns Gallery![Cool](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif)
I'm guessing that the ware must be made using bone china in the mix to get the translucency?

Crown lynn Translucent China
.
It is likely to be an imported "blank" plate decorated with a transfer from Crown Lynn's stock. The transfer had been used previously in production & stocks remained on the shelves.
In the years leading up to C.L's demise, the importation of Bone China or Porcelain glazed blanks was seriously looked at.Some stock was bought in & decorated.
