Can anyone identify the maker of this 1980's pot?

Hi there. any thoughts appreciated - it's quite large at about 22cms tall & 55cms circumference. 15.5cms across top. No potter's mark. The pot is more 'orange' than the pics show. I'll add some more pics shortly. Thanks a lot.

What a brilliant idea to use the TradeMe photo server

Is that a makers mark on the base kd16?
If it is can you get a macro of it?

Hi Ev - Thanks for taking the time to answer - no it's not a pottery mark unfortunately, just a bit of the orange colour that has strayed onto the base. Whew lucky it's OK to upload photos from Trademe photoserver. Any thoughts appreciated, cheers Karen

I'm no help sorry, as there is nothing that I recognise that tells me who made that pot ....
Only thing with using TradeMe photo server is that the pics will be gone in around 4 weeks.

Thanks Ev, much appreciated. Off topic, ever since I've registered I've been unable to view any photos in the forums. My computer just keeps grinding on but never actually opening anything. I can see the gallery photos to the left, but that's it. I guess there are a huge number of photos on the site but I'd have thought my computer could open them as I don't have a problem on other sites. Any ideas Ev, because I'd love to see what's going on. Oh my goodness, half of the site is made up of photos ..... they speak more than thousands of words!!!! My only thought is that you have slipped through the servimg.com cracks.....who host the majority of our pics .... can you see if you are registered there ?? This should automatically happen when you register with this site .... please check it out kd? You may have to register .... not sure ... but if you can't register you should already have an a account .......? Can you let me know how you get on please.

I went to the servimg website and tried to put my details into the 'members' login area - which did not compute so don't really know what the problem is. Anyway thanks Ev, I've taken up enough of your time. all the best
