Who Is Mike? .... Answer - Mike O'Donnell
Two lovely bowls that we use for porridge every morning .
Bought at a Pumphouse, North Shore, exhibition some 20 years ago.
The Pohutakawa decoration is a delight to rediscover each morning.
Mark on base is 'Mike' (underlined) Scrafitto on base.
Any clues from the experts please?

Re: Who Is Mike? .... Answer - Mike O'Donnell
So many potters used different marks over the years.
The Marks of New Zealand Potters book doesn't have Mike as his mark, but does have Michael.
The writing matches though so I can confirm that it is Mike O'Donnell's work.
I'd like to put that mark into the Potters Marks Gallery thanks Jonno.
I've enhanced your pic for the gallery ...

Thanks Ev,
That was worth waiting for lovely strong honest pottery and I agree the body is the same as our bowls.
