Redwood for the Gallery Empty Kelston Redwood 402

Post  Jonno Thu 19 Jan - 21:10

Saw another Redwood today or rather about 6-8 plates different sizes but with the number 402 as noted above rather than the d168 Redwood that I posted for the gallery last year. The dealer said they often get this variety.
No photo available right now but the major difference is that 402 is Kelston Potteries on the backstamp whereas the 168 has no pottery name. The glaze colour is the same. Could go back and get a photo if you would like.

Redwood for the Gallery Empty re Redwood for the Gallery

More confusion from CL, further to the info above I found this plate today . Plate is 255mm Dia. Did this just miss the brown glaze or did they make in white as well?
We will likely never know. Redwood for the Gallery Img_1814Redwood for the Gallery Img_1815
