here's a photo of a saucer stamp.
the plates are very plain compared to the other bits with just the single ring.

Would never have guessed that it was a Sorrento saucer!

I'm guessing they made it plain to help emphasize the growing grass.

Hi Ev, I am pretty sure that those saucers are Sorrento. The only difference between different coloured sets is maybe a different coloured line. We currently have over 800 different saucers all pretty much catalogued and not a Sorrento patterned one amongst them, and I have never seen one with a Sorrento pattern on it. We have several the same as the ones in the photo but they don't have a number on them unfortunately. Hope this helps, they seemed to partner highly patterned cups with relatively plain saucers.
