Hi Ev

here's a photo of a saucer stamp.
the plates are very plain compared to the other bits with just the single ring.

Many thanks, I'm pretty sure that's what mine has on it ....

Would never have guessed that it was a Sorrento saucer!

I'm guessing they made it plain to help emphasize the growing grass.
would look too messy with patterns on the plates.

It's a match!!
I'm guessing here that all of the different coloured Sorrento had this plain saucer?

Hi Ev, I am pretty sure that those saucers are Sorrento. The only difference between different coloured sets is maybe a different coloured line. We currently have over 800 different saucers all pretty much catalogued and not a Sorrento patterned one amongst them, and I have never seen one with a Sorrento pattern on it. We have several the same as the ones in the photo but they don't have a number on them unfortunately. Hope this helps, they seemed to partner highly patterned cups with relatively plain saucers. Cheers, marl
