I have this lovely vase, has on the base the Crown Lynn backstamp with the 670 impressed, but can anyone help me with what the fraction mark might mean here?

White Vase Number 670 Empty re White Vase 670

Post  Jonno Mon 12 Dec - 16:51

Could it be that the numbers 17/6 were seventeen shillings and sixpence ,the price prior to Decimal currency in 1967.??

I agree with Jonno, as the fraction marks were written through the glaze, not on top of it.
A lovely vase though .... and I wonder why it has a price on the base,
as this 'Fruit Embossed Cup Vase' was first modelled in 1960?
