No name fern beauty is Leopard Breweries Pat.No.962 ~
It seems that I've overlooked posting this ever so pretty pattern of a a black and a white fern leaf on a turquoise background. An auction on TM reminded me of Manos's pic ....

Came across a suggestion from gloworm in the No Names Gallery that this pattern was listed on TM as Reflections 755. However Reflections on Teal d755 is the same pattern as the one on Reflections on Mushroom d842 ..... see pic below and comaprison with this pattern.
Reflections on Mushroom 842
Note the different shape of the fern.
We don't have the Reflection 755 on teal pattern in the Gallery ...yet.

Just came across a listing in the Crown Lynn Decoration Advices from around 1968 that says:
Leopard Breweries deco.no 962 Black & White Fern leaves
So I'm putting it out there into cyber space that this could be the name for the lovely fern pattern, as I have yet to see any other black and white Crown Lynn fern patterns. As this pattern is on vitrified ware it makes more sense to me. Any thoughts?

I have an ashet (larger size) in this pattern that has always puzzled me.. it's the same colour as the 1965 Air NZ ware, and shape number 1631which seems to me to be less clunky and better quality than most vitrified ware. It also has cryptic numbers and letters on the base... don't ask me what all this means but for the record here it is. It is a very beautiful plate and cost me - gasp - $25 from a dealer, I just had to have it!
Hope all these pics aren't overloading the system Ev.

Just happened across this again in the Decoration Advices and I'm going with Leopard Breweries Pat.No.962 Black & White fern leaves.
Vitrified ware it will be and this is and I haven't come across any other black and white fern leaves.
Val the 10 on your plate would be for the 10 inch size.
No idea what the R C stands for at this stage ......

How cool it is to find this pattern in the records at last and my educated guess was correct and it has a date 25/7/75
