NZR Cup and Saucer
This cup belonged to an NZR electrical engineer who worked on the signal installations around the country.
He designed the signals layout for the Te Rapa Marshalling Yards and was hugely involved in the electrical designs of the Britomart Station.
There were many trips away during his career with the railways so he had his own cup and saucer that travelled with him-he was an avid tea drinker (as many as 30 cups per day).
