There is another cplain Carousel in a darker colour already in the gallery

Hmmmm same shaped ware .... same backstamp ... do I detect the second 0 on your one to be a little higher? Is it possible that it is another number eg 6 ....?

Not sure about that, I took this pic a while ago, I will see if I can find the saucer again.

It appears to me that Crown Lynn used Colour Glaze on all of the different shaped ware ..... Forma .... rimmed ware ... shallow ware etc - do you agree Marl?

Yes I do absolutely, even though it may not have been called colourglaze. I found the saucer and am no wiser, it really does look like a 0 to us. cheers, marl

I see a TM listing 663756786 with black coffee can saucers also called Carousel D400.
I think I have a saucer with that backstamp ummm might have to check my stash before I commit to that statement  

I have wondered if this Carousel comes in a range of colours ..... ?
So far they are rather neutral colours, but I'm guessing that there may be 6 different ones.

It seems Carousel d400 is like Capri etc and comes in all colours?

Found this in green on rim shape side plate too,
it is a colour I dont associate with Crown Lynn.  

Right then so far we have found 5 colours in Carousel d400

Chocolate Brown
Fawn
Black
Yellow
Dark Green
Tango Blue makes 6 colours!

I think I have one or two somewhere too....

Is that a different typeface too Kat? or just roughly applied.

yea i think its the same, its the colour that is odd aye.

The Crown Lynn Hobgoblin gave me these two Carousel d400 plates so now we know the 6 colours and the last one is Tango Blue.  My Goodness the yellow is brighter than any other yellow that I've seen!
