I knew immediately that this was made at Luke Adams for Crown Lynn, as the brown glaze that breaks to black caught my attention, as did the fine rings that are on many of the other pieces that they made.
There are no base markings and the shape is just so familiar, but I can't find the number for it.
Perhaps the Museum records will tell me ....?
Will have to find time to go there again soon ... no time atm bah humbug!

I have checked in my mug files and it would be a 1029. My pic is off Tme but looks exactly the same and the handle shape is very distinctive. Cheers, Marl

I notice that the list of wares made at Luke Adams says 1029 - Handled mug, which doesn't really say anything hehe
