Thistle like flower. Is Red Thistle d768.
Found this plate the other day, can't see it in the gallery anywhere

That is lovely isn't it ...
I saw an auction one time that said that this pattern was made for the Red Thistle Restaurant and they even had a menu to show that it was a real place....
it's funny though as I always see pink thistles
It is hard wearing vitrified ware so would be great for a restaurant.
I have seen quite a few pieces over the years listed on TM, usually named Red Thistle, which makes me wonder if other places used it as well.

It is quite a strong pink - I guess it's 'red' thistle in the way that 'red' clover is red lol But pretty anyway :-)

A Crown Lynn photo Te Toi Uku loaded onto ehive shows Red Thistle has Olive Green uprights, not black as are usually listed on Trade Me.
