Re: O.C. Stephens
Yes Ev, I have a few pieces of his pottery and the colours are so subtle. The green one in your picture would be the brightest coloured piece I have seen. Most of the pieces I have seen have a different colour on the inside. Incidentally, his name is Oswald Counsell Stephens. As an aside, my late uncle told me that O C Stephens was one of his teachers at high school in Dunedin many years ago, so he would have taught my mother as well most likely.

Re: O.C. Stephens
I couldn't capture the soft green colour ... it came out much brighter!
Glad to hear that you have some of his work Thelma.
O.C. Stephens was a mentor to the Studio Pottery movement in the early days and was an organiser of the first exhibition for the NZ Potters Society![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Re: O.C. Stephens
Jeremy it seems that every picture that I've posted up until 2012 doesn't show anymore! Perhaps I post too many pics?
Re: O.C. Stephens
Just checked my Cook & Serve topic which is my earliest and all is well.
