These patterns were made not too long before Crown Lynn closed and are in a 1988 Catalogue that I have. They are part of the Modello Collection.
Here are photos of each and I plan to mix them both together ....
Milano

Nouveau

Heheeeeeee Milano has white speckles on a black background .....
Nouveau has black speckles on a white background.
Is that what you were trying to say Maryr?

Woops. No. I got my wires crossed... I thought Nouveau came in 2 versions.. but the white on black is Milano isn't it? We learn something new every day! xx I LOVE Milano, wish they had done a border on Nouveau as well, it would have been classier.

I was tossing up between Milano and Nouveau, with Milano in the lead until ..... I found a piece of Nouveau and my eyes turned into little love hearts
and that was that !!

..... 6 Nouveau saucers later which are very different to any others that I've seen and I think they look very classy -

Well done Ev... the Florence saucers are stepped like that too, very groovy. Having found out a bit more about what they made in those last years I regret being a bit dismissive in my book. There was some lovely stuff.

Bops in
I had to constrain a squeal when I saw two Milano saucers with CAFE cups on them for $1 each at one of my opshops today
I was so lucky as there was a Crown Lynn addict behind me who swooped up everything Crown Lynn like a vacuum cleaner *phew*... so I only found them with seconds to spare!
Gosh today was one of the magic opping days .... found a pattern that I've never seen before with orange flowers ....
[I think I could have seen it somewhere, maybe a black & white copy at the Museum???]
One of those gorgeous tapering mugs in a peach colour glaze with New Zealand on the base *YAY*
Everything was 2 for 1 or 3 for $1 for goodness sake ... oh I got two lovely MacMillan mugs too

Thanks narna, I found two of those mugs and saucers last week for $1 each ... I will pass on that one.
A new member contacted me yesterday to say they had a full 8 piece dinner set in Nouveau that they were thinking of selling and were wondering if it was worth anything....!
Edits to add that the new member just mentioned that they live on the Gold Coast in Oz ... which is a shame as postage would be outrageous : (

Thanks Cat ..... and thanks Kat - who also sent me this listing.
As I already have 8 cups and saucers I think I have enough.
Looking for plates, side plates and bowls now.
