I have a bowl, mug and plate set in excellent condition of the 'Sally Anne" D979, how much is this worth? Thanks

There's a side plate on Trademe at the moment with a $12 bid on it (and a Pirate Pete bowl and plate with a $25 bid), might pay to watchlist and see where they end up price-wise, I would think the whole set would fetch a good price. There are no other recent auctions to compare.

I bought a full set of Sally Anne years ago, and it wasn't cheap then (can't remember the price, but I do remember hesitating!) It is very unusual to find a complete set, but the price depends on whether someone desperately wants one... or not. You could take it in to Brian Ronson (Epsom Antiques) and ask his opinion. Otherwise put it on TradeMe with a reserve that you are happy with and see what happens.

Oh My oh my oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess that means you could put $300 on that set...

I wonder if the bidders both needed it to complete their sets!

I see the Pirate Pete plate and bowl auction that you mentioned Cat only reached $63.50 ... :shrugs: So just a minor bidding war for pete's sake !

After finding the Sally Anne mug, it only took just over 18 months to complete the set, one piece at a time. So rewarding to have her all together at last.
