This is the mark of Macmillan Ceramics - Alchemy Art Centre in Nelson

on this bowl. The mark is very similar to the one used by Michael Macmillan

Building Institute Mug
I really like finding these dated Studio Pottery Mugs, i think its cause it tells a story about time & place..its beautifully decorated too, like snowy mountains.

It is a cool decoration Kat, and I believe it is supposed to represent the waves at Tahunanui beach.

Can someone enlighten me regarding this lovely pottery please?
I have a feeling that there were two MacMillan brothers, but only know of Michael.
In the gallery there is a Howard MacMillan, so perhaps I'm confusing these fellows?

I have a mug with that second mark:

Since that design won the 2002 WOW, that should date it very nicely.
