Could this be a Mark Cleverley mug ?? Yes as it's an 1131 Hillis Mug!
Not sure about this one - so tall and narrow. I think the handle is wrong, but thought perhaps it was a Mark Cleverley design. It is a rich chocolate / bronze / slate colour - almost metallic if you know what I mean.
The base is difficult to photograph, it has thick glaze, but can make out: (two initials- S A ?) White Associates and By Crown Lynn New Zealand, with stylised figures with raised arms in the centre

I've seen quite a few of these mugs on Trademe -
must take notice of the details of the next one ~.~

mrnarna has one of these - I think it said "Designer C. A. Hillis Associates" on the base with "By Crown Lynn New Zealand" under a logo of three stylised figures. But the initials could be open to interpretation and the Hillis could be Willis - my photo of it is blurry and the glaze thick.

Thank you Tony, it is really hard to read. Do I have this post in the right category? I wondered where it was made etc.

The glaze is certainly similar to other known Luke Adams ones. I had a vague memory it might actually have been "D A Hillis Associates" and googling that got to an expired TradeMe listing # 396619207 for a beaker made in 1972 for a conference.

From the 4 digit shapes without a designated factory list you posted today Ev, is this then a 1131?

I wonder what the [for Canada] represents ..... the date looks right so perhaps they made more than Canada required ...... ??
It is apparent that the list is working already, I'm extremely pleased to say
