Number 634 for the gallery !!

There are no numbers and no marking on this. Not exactly sure where they would be put in any case.

It has the 3 hanging holes as shown in the sketch, so I am of the mind that it is the Crown Lynn 634. Do you have any measurements for this one Ev, perhaps that would help.
It is 225mm diameter or 9 inches, and as best I can get it 155mm or just over 6 inches high.

Re: Number 634 for the gallery !!
Thanks to Richard Quinn I do have a measurement - 8 and 7/8ths inches.
It's very plain to see that it's the right shape. There was one on Trademe a short time ago and it was the first that I'd seen, though yours doesn't look shabby like that one did.
Thanks sunny

Heeeheeeeee well done, as it sucked me right in
So it is a Salisbury painted piece?
The records say it was first made in August 1961

Yes, it is not glazed as far as I can tell. The paint looks like thick acrylic, and is bubbled and peeling, so I will have to see what is underneath when I have time to treat it tenderly. It is a pale lilac which doesn't seem right to me, the underneath looks like a cream.
