NZ Studio Potters' marks graphic identification site ... has vanished.
This site is to help you to identify NZ Potters' marks.
http:// .... this has now been moved to http://www.pottersmarks.co.nz/
Just need to work out how to use it.
It appears to be part of Auckland Studio Potters with asp in the address, though it could be a project from NZ Potters Inc - Suzy Dunser is the contact.
The marks that I've looked at so far seem to be the same as the NZ Potters Marks book ...
Edits to add that I've had a good look around and tried to identify some of our Mystery Marks and I've worked out how to do this. It appears that only a certain amount of the marks have been categorised at this point in time. There are marks that I've never seen before on there, so I will keep trying it out and will let you know if I have any success.

One of my 'other' jobs at the moment is helping to Categorise the marks on the NZ Potters web site. It is interesting to find that most of the potters have used their stylized initials as a mark and some are so weird and wonderful and extremely creative and when I look at a mark and try and work out what it represents a light bulb will flash and I go - WOW!! How clever!

This site is working well and you can add your own mark to the site now which is a brilliant idea. We must use it when we find those mystery marks people.
Re: NZ Studio Potters' marks graphic identification site ... has vanished.
Is t just me or are the photos on the graphic identification site mostly showing as broken? (Suzy Dunser, Jill Bagnall and Margaret Bray are the only ones I can actually see, everything else is a broken link)

The site has been down for quite a while, and I suspect they are still trying to fix it all. Hopefully it won't be too long.

What browser are you using ev? I'm using chrome.
also, do you have special permissions for the ID site - just thinking maybe admins can see everything ok.
Will try using a different browser too.

Re: NZ Studio Potters' marks graphic identification site ... has vanished.
Apparently there was an update loaded for the site recently and every website connected to it stopped working. It should be fixed very shortly as it is being worked on and it loads for Suzy now.

Sorry, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to exist anymore.
