DeVice Pottery in the Moutere by Vincent Forster

Another pottery I came across at the fair was a husband and wife team, who called themselves DeVice, and are based in the Moutere. They make highly glazed wares, which are all NZ inspired.

The glaze on their dishes is thick and gathers in the corners giving depth and has an almost age craze effect on some pieces.

I was rather taken with this platter - the sea urchins were so real looking, with even the hole in them, and you could feel every tiny bump under that glaze!

and their mark

Someone Vice from Nelson perhaps????
I can't make out what this mark says for the life of me.
I'm hoping someone from Nelson can help as the writing is familiar to me .....
