Temuka small mottle dish - NZI Croydon

I found this at the Mapua Easter Fair on Sunday, light mottled finish

Obviously made for NZ Insurance, wish I could find the nicer colours as in this previous auction

NZI stands for New Zealand Insulators Ltd doesn't it?

Yep, I can also confirm that NZI stands for New Zealand Insulators. I have a couple of these mottled dishes as well as several other items from that era. ( Ashamed to admit it but I also have a stash of insulators of varying sizes, all with the NZI stamp on them, Well, it is NZ pottery after all!)

This purpose made cane basket has 6 of these dishes sitting snugly in it and all are marked the same as mumof1's
