No potter's mark, but a very distinctive style, very fine pure white clay with a blue oxide wash of some sort and then a clear glaze applied to the top 'capped' section.

Does anyone know who made it?

I have no ideas sorry Cat, but I think it's really lovely.
Hopefully someone will come along and will recognise something about the style.

I think I've found something by the same person - still no mark that I can see, but another distinctive piece.

Cat I saw heaps of these lovely bowls in the shops, not opshops in the 90's but I never saw a mark, just want to add that it was in the greater Auckland area.

These beautiful bowls were done by my x mother in law Jay Calway. So lovely to see them again. Especially the daily liners.
Her work has always been delicate tactile. Julie kerr
