I don't see that mark in the Potters Marks book.
The closest is Alex Whyte - but his initials are side by side.
What is that other indistinct mark that is more in the middle of the base?

I can't tell from here if the circle on the base is raised or impressed....
unusual to see that on a base...
if it's raised - I would agree with you that it would have been cast in a mould.

Hi, It's a Bagley Grantham Vase, I have one in amber too, which is surprisingly nice, as well - Have added a couple of clearer photos, & the circle is Impressed, Hope that helps

I can see that the AW was put on through quite damp clay
as it has blobbed at the ends....
It could very well be moulded...
that outer halo ring is unusual too and I hadn't noticed it before.
The vase must be a decent size...
