Speedie electric jug - is it NZ? NO!
On our travels I bought this electric jug for $35. It's in perfect condition and I was feeling very smug because I remembered one from Gail Henry's book... but got home and found hers (by Luke Adams) was Speedee not Speedie... which I suspect leaves me with a lovely mint condition Australian jug. I have found a few on Ebay in Australia. Can anyone advise..

The base has electrical specifications
240V1600W
AC ONLY
V7921234M1
And a cryptic squiggle that doesn't come out in the photo.

These results turned up on the Aussie electric jug collectors Forum -
http://electricjugs.ning.com/main/search/search?q=speedie
So I'm guessing that it's Strayan![Wink](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif)

Bother. As one says. Serve me right for not checking spelling! Thanks Ev. I must say I haven't seen that site before.

As if you need further proof but the fact that it is rated 240 volts makes it Australian
will still work in NZ but our voltage is 230vac
