Anna Barnett - Upper Moutere, Nelson
I posted an earlier piece of Anna's work here http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3765-several-pottery-pieces#12525 and it had her sticker on it, but yesterday I went to visit Anna at her studio, and wanted to share her mark, and some of her work

This mark is used on selected larger works

but most of here work is simply stamped Anna, as shown here. All her coffee cups have this patterned base

and now some of her work

This one was called Story Seas, and comes in many different shapes and sizes.

So, if you are ever down Nelson way, pop in and see her, or come for a cuppa and I will take you!

Gosh, I'm not sure, as in my post I noted that all Anna's coffee mugs had the same swirly base. I can no longer find her website either, so I'm not sure how to contact her to ask, but that would be the best if you find a number or way to PM her perhaps.

Re: Anna Barnett - Upper Moutere, Nelson
Hi Janice, here is the reply I received from Anna :
"And now I have seen the photos of the mug, it is one of mine. A copper red glaze fired in a gas kiln. I am no longer potting now, as we sold our property and I decided to retire rather than set up another studio etc. kind regards, Anna PS/ I kept one small kiln just incase I change my mind….but I haven’t so far. I potted for 37years, and loved every moment, and all the lovely customers etc."
