possible new shape .438. (NO PICTURE YET)
I've just been looking at the little vases at Decor Revived,
in particular the ones with dots (rather than the fraction vases).
There are a .63. and a .98. that appear to correspond to those in the Crown Lynn shapes gallery,
and a .438. which appears not to, and has no corresponding number in the Titian gallery either.
It is an oval flat-type vase with some brick patterning incised.
I cannot see the detail in the Crown Lynn gallery image but I don't think there is any there.
I'm not equipped to take photos for the rest of the week,
but Jill has given me permission so I will do this next week,
unless someone tells me its the same piece from my vague description.

Re: possible new shape .438. (NO PICTURE YET)
Hi Jeremy we have a shape 438 in the gallery and it's described as a 'Small round dish or Ashtray' in the records.

Ev, I've seen it in the C/L gallery but it doesn't appear to be the same thing.
I can only compare from memory but I'm sure the one in the shop is flatter than the one in the gallery, and as I said above, has incised brickwork patterning.
I'll keep you informed, and when I get a photo you can compare for yourself.

Of course you are right, Ev.
The general shape appears to be the same. It is a very light, delicate piece. The top half of the rolled edge is patterned as brickwork, which, while being the memorable part of the dish, is not apparent in the gallery photo.

I tried hard to find a post about this shape which would show more detail, but to no avail. I know that the dish was Heather's.
