Id required for this NZ Potter 'SH'
Lovely paper thin shallow dish with either makers or decorators initials 'SH'. I would love to find out who 'SH' is.

Re: Id required for this NZ Potter 'SH'
Hi and welcome to the site 10kazam
You could email a photo of the pot and the mark to the site on newzealandpottery@gmail.com and I will add it to your post if you like.
I've had a quick look through the NZ Potters' Marks book, but nothing jumps out at me, but someone may know if they see the mark.

I can't tell you who SH is, but if you check out this thread you will find some information about that gorgeous bowl.

Thanks for the information and the link. It certainly confirms that this is a piece by 1280 Pottery. As an Aussie, I had not heard of this pottery before. I had a look on the internet, and the only real reference I can find to Barry Ball is that he is an artist and potter.
