It looks fab!

A skinny butter dish, Maryr suggested for American sticks of butter.

A sample plate..

Interesting Earthstone style dishes
Among Jim's treasures were these two dishes... very cool. The first below looks like it's derived from the Earthstone Autumn pattern, the second has Polynesia colours.

Both are ABOUT 15 cm long - forgot to take my tape measure. They are a shape I have not seen before, and on the base they have the plain coronet stamp which to me says that they were made for quick sale in the seconds shops in the late 1970s - 1980s.

THEN, in my boxes is a dish decorated in a very similar style, that was made for British Airways - this has a proper backstamp. Um. what does this mean? No idea really. Jim's dishes are a different shape from mine and slightly smaller. My dish has no shape number on the base... but it's probably the same as the brown Economy Class Air NZ dishes when I come to think of it!
