I had a very GREEN morning. Orzel at Hospice,
Titian at SPCA, and THIS at Habitat:
Green Day, unmarked bowl Green_10
85mm H x 108 OD at lip, unmarked slipcast

I've started picking up a bit of unmarked ware
in an effort to identify the manufacturer.

This has a similar style of glaze to the Orzel and Titian items but darker.

I'm thinking KilnCraft/Clay Craft perhaps, as an alternative. Just don't know.

Green Day, unmarked bowl Empty the power of google

Post  Jeremy Ashford Mon 2 Dec - 23:41

With the aid of a google image search I was able to find a 2011 trademe listing for what appears to be the same item, albeit with different glaze, advertised as a "lovely sugar bowl made by claycraft."

How they were able to identify it I do not know, but I suspect what Ev said in the "random mugs" topic may apply here too. Foot rings and flat bottoms appeared on the same item at different times. With a foot ring there is a place for a mark.

For text only see the link below.
