This vase is not especially to my taste but it had a sticker so I had to have it... Vase is 18 cm tall. There was another in other colours as well. Kerikeri Hospice shop.

I really thought that sticker was on the site, but I can't find it and will add it to the Potters Gallery.
We have a Cooks Nz backstamp however - http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3953-david-ruth-cook-cooks-pottery?highlight=cooks

That Cooks is Motueka, this one is Picton.. did they move their workshop, or are these different Cooks? I can't decide, the script looks a bit different (but could have evolved).

I'm not sure either way now that you have raised that question. mumof1 lives down that way and I will get her to find out, although she is on an eight day roadtrip atm ....

Sorry this has taken so long, but the research has been difficult, as I couldn't find any info easily. But, I have now solved the mystery! I decided to find their number and ring them. The Creek Pottery, is the name of a gift shop in Picton. They sell wares that appeal to the tourist trade, but are not a pottery or affiliated with a pottery. In the past it seems, they acted very much as our Potter's Patch in Motueka do today, and sold wares on behalf of the artist, be it pottery or other craft, so the piece you have Val, will have been made by the Cook's of Motueka, and I have noticed that the mark tends to vary as it is hand done.

I found this yesterday,
The Creek Pottery Picton Dsc00311
bearing the sticker, but also
The Creek Pottery Picton Dsc00312
a Made in New Zealand stamp, so I don't know who made this one.  sunny

Here is another example on TM http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=776304872&permanent=0 They are selling this as the Creek Pottery, but it is actually made by June Palmer of Nelson, the pattern is unmistakable
