Re: Green/Blue Coffee Pot by Maxine Waters
Hmmm it looks familiar to me as well Kat, but I'm preoccupied with making Galleries atm and don't have any spare brain waves to work it out
Gosh that looks like a Barium glaze ..... hopefully not as it has poisonous tendencies and should only be used on decorative wares!
Barium glazes look simply stunning on white clay!
They could have used copper oxide to get that colour ... maybe?

Looks like early Maxine Waters mark - the colour is one she still uses by the looks of it, though can't find any of her earlier work to compare with this stylistically, as what she does now seems to be all sculptural work.

Mtaxine Waters platter
I found this huge platter the other day, and kicking myself for not getting it now
Edits to say I went back this week and the platter was still there, so now it is mine all 380mm / 15 inches diameter of it !
