Sparta Pat.No.886
(A bit of a false start here but Ev sorts it out in the end)
Sparkle (Sparta?) 824 is a 3012 shape.
Kelston Potteries.
Blue, yellow-green, black.
The blue matches the Cordon Bleu colour.
I have photos but cannot post them til tomorrow.
Sorry!

Re: Sparta Pat.No.886
Ev, Janpots, looking at the base stamp again I think I may have made a mistake.
I was sure at the time it said "Sparkle" but I have checked all three attempts at a photo and it appears to be SPARTA!
I'm still pretty confident about the number.
I had others check it for me too because it is so smudgy.
I hope one or other of you will be able to find something on paper somewhere.

Re: Sparta Pat.No.886
There is a Sparta 886 do you think this is it?
That number is hard to read too isn't it?
I'm confident that it's Sparta pat.no.886

Re: Sparta Pat.No.886
I was unpacking some CL that I had in storage and came across this cup with the saucer I got it on. Is it likely to be an original match???
The cup is a nice fit in the well and they both have a similar feel....thin and light.
