Sandown variations
Hi Ev
I have decided to try and sell my Sandown set and I have photographed some of the pieces to show the huge variation in colours and the pattern. I thought you might like to see the pics, so here they are. PS I still have about the same sized set in Landscape and another in Camille which are my real favourites.cheers, Marl

Re: Sandown variations
Thanks Marl as that shows significant differences.
The information that I got about the Earthstone range said that it was fired three times and the last firing was for the decal that was made at Crown Lynn.
It is my guess that just a slight variation in firing temperature could end up with such different shades of colour and the variety in the melt of the patterns.
I have a nice selection of various Earthstone patterns now and use the lovely salad bowl often as it's my favourite
