This is a lovely bowl, can anyone tell me who made it? I don't know which way up the mark is meant to go. Thank you

You are almost there plumtree, just choose the middle option of the three options and the photo will show instead of a link. I'm keen to see what you have as it sounds very interesting.

I actually got this in a bulk lot of pottery that I got out of curiosity.

I reckon it's Christopher Peter Clouston, and the bowl is fabulous!!
