It has just dawned on me that what the records have sprinkled here and there with the titles Castware Stoneware and "Classic" shapes mean and I find it extremely exciting!  I've looked at this time and again without an inkling of what they were as there is no indication, but the word Stoneware is what gave it away! The Crown Lynn codes have 8 as the second number to represent Stoneware and all of this range have the Stoneware 8 !! For example: 1808 - "Classic" Coffee Mug.
I know I'm just a geek, but that's who I am  geek

This is the Aurora Stoneware range and was first made from 1979 and included Blue Lagoon, Wild Wheat and the stoneware set that was made for Parliament House.  I have a feeling that there are other patterns too, but can't come up with any other names at the moment.
However if you have any of the Classic Stoneware pieces please post them in here so that we can try to identify them.  The cups and jugs have very unusual handles unlike anything else and there is a listing with a cup on TradeMe at the moment that includes a cup -
