Hi I have a large collection of owl and other nz and overseas pottery, Can anyone advise on the best place to get new owners for these. I am loath to throw them out or have them get lost in red cross shops, I would prefer they go to a collector, I have toby jugs from the UK, lots of Nz pottery, glass owls extensive bird collections and lots of the cup and saucer sets.

Tried dealers and they are only interested in retro/60s items.

I would appreciate any advice anyone can give on this please.

Hi Fiona and welcome to the Forum Smile

Trade Me would be your best option really for anything collectable.

All of the major English potteries have their own categories as well as Crown Lynn.

Francis I would love to see your collection and would be interested in purchasing from you. I collect glass, NZ pottery, english and european ceramics and plenty of other things, if you live near Masterton could we come and visit at a prearranged time to suit

Happy to have you visit but this would require a flight, we are 10 mins from the airport but only until the 26th Feb, then we are off overseas for a month and then a new house in Leigh, so its travel for anyone who is interested  Very Happy
