Orzel Old English jug and matching column mug
Well the top border is at least similar to the "Greek Key" motif.

11cm H x 8cm OD
A rare Orzel mark with "200", followed by what could be "2MJ" or "2HY" etc. It's clear enough but difficult to decypher.
Similar item on trademe:

I think this is the same shape and treatment as two (in different sizes) I saw at Jules' Waipu shop last year.

Great thanks Jeremy, as I was watching the one on TM intently .......
Re: Orzel Old English jug and matching column mug

Would you say this is an almost match for the jug? It doesn't have the detail around the top, but still looks like columns with squares around the base

no number that I can see though

Totally Anne.
But now we'll have to think of a new name for the pattern!

Re: Orzel Old English jug and matching column mug
do you reckon the squares at the base of the cup are similar to Bobble-Base stuff?
