Royal Oak for gallery
I THINK all these are Royal Oak, except for the double handled mug, which I don't feel should go in the gallery unless someone can confirm it.
Oval plate... this is that lovely soft creamy glaze... comes out slightly muddy with my camera. 28.5 long, 21.5 wide. (I actually LIKE this plate.. am I becoming a Royal Oak aficionado?)
Jug with coloured deco - uncommon but I am pretty sure it's RO - 13 cm tall
Same jug with plain glaze, 12.5 cm tall
Double handled jug, 7.5 cm tall
This has the classic Royal Oak base (with someone's pencil scribbles!)
This mug is in a very similar style but the base is very different... hmmm again. Not sure if it is Royal Oak. 9 cm tall.
The clay body is darker than I usually see in Royal Oak... any theories?

Re: Royal Oak for gallery
Val, I say yes to all.
When I bought my double handle coffee jug there was a complete set,
but I could not bring myself to buy the rest (Pot=$5, rest=$10).
RO made some nasties and this mug and jug are right up there.
So's the pot to be honest.
I know the other jugs and I think they are quite nice,
but I won't need to buy one now.
I saw similar deco on a pair of RO P&S at Hikurangi.
Platter is sweet too.
I just bought a RO bottle (Leigh, Waipu), and photographed a huge RO jug (2nd hand shop, Maungateroto).
16cm H
This jug is about 15 inches tall, about 40cm
When I first looked at the jug I couldn't decide Kermiko or Royal Oak.
Then I saw the bottle and a stone jar at Leigh's shop, then I saw the bottle in another glaze at Jules' shop, also in Waipu.

Whatever I said I take it back.
When I commented above on how silly I thought the Royal Oak two handle mugs were I was not aware that they came in two sizes. The one I saw in Auckland had a handle a finger could not fit through.
I picked this one up at Tikipunga market this morning and it fits perfectly.
I love the glaze too. It's either one I don't have, or a variation on one I do.

I like my new mug.
