I think this is one of the very early transfers. The plate was originally ringed in gold. I seem to remember my grandmother having a set of this when I was quite young (rather a long time ago!) I can't see it in the 'no names'  patterns.

This is a very old set, the BB plate is like Val's with the same backstamp.
The cup and saucer has the Crown Manor backstamp, which I have only seen on cream/white items or the red/ grey banded plates.
