Crown Lynn bowls Empty Crown Lynn bowls

I think that one of my bowls is the same as an unusually shaped Dorothy Thorpe bowl from Billy Apple's collection.  What does this mean? I have no idea.  I was interested in Billy's Dorothy Thorpe bowl because it was a different shape from the elegant parabolic shape you normally see in the Thorpe range.
Here is my bowl, with an old backstamp.

And here is Billy's Dorothy Thorpe.
