more work by Whangarei potter, Roy Walker
More Roy Walker pieces.

This Roy Walker mug that I bought in Dargaville, clearly marked, combines the shape of Jim's Maori Warden mug with the painted floral design of Kat & Co.'s one, both seen above.

I spotted these others in the kitchen cabinet at a friend's place in Auckland. Same pattern again. Only the utensils jar is marked.

something completely different: pit-fired vase, about 15cm H
Shirley Whillans bought all of these directly from the potter in Whangarei.
She remembers him as a very nice man, living in a suburb beginning with K.
He no longer pots, but I have nothing beyond that.
