This lovely bottle has no makers marks on it .... who made it?
It has all of the hallmarks of Len Castle -
the shape -
the shino glaze -
the stamped decoration -
the finish on the lip.....
but as there is no maker's mark I can't be sure -
and I haven't seen that stamp on any of his work.

Well its possible. Tippett made lots for Castle style pots. You just need to find a Tippett pot with that stamp

The stamp on this Melis van der Sluis bottle reminded me of the one on my shino one.

It looks like it Ev, but does yours have a circle for the flower centre dot?

Great spotting Kat. No mine is a little ring and not solid.... Bah humbug as I emailed Melis before I Noticed!!!
